Richard Wills I first became interested in becoming a massage practitioner in the mid 80’s when I taught anatomy and physiology for two class sessions at the Messillia Valley School of Massage in Las Cruces, NM. Circumstances were not right at that time for me to actually attend school and become licensed. I used to work as a self-employed handyman. Two years ago trigger points and myo-fascial injuries made it impossible to lace my belt through my belt loops. Expert massage work from Denise Salsibury and self-massage got me functional again. I realized it was time to get licensed and help others recover from injury and pain. Sam Hayden I became interested in healing and took a class on Reconnective Healing given by Dr. Pearl. After practicing my new found skills for a while I realized I wanted to work as a healer full time. It made sense to go to massage school and have an actual license to touch clients. The more I learned in school, the more I discovered how well Reconnective healing and massage compliment each other. While in school, I met my husband Richard. Together, we hope to establish a practice that focuses primarily on healing muscle injury and reducing or eliminating pain. Western medicine is slow to realize that most pain ( 80 to 90 percent, including headaches) is actually caused by tender points and trigger points in the muscles and fascia of the body. Our focus is finding and treating those points. |

Together Sam & I met at massage school in Pt. Townsend. As the year progressed and we got to know each other better, we both realized the other exactly complemented our own chosen path. We are each certain the other is our “soul-mate”. We got married in the classroom with skeletons as best man and maid of honor and with family, classmates and instructors as guests. Our brief “honeymoon” was the ferry boat rides home. A real honeymoon is planned later as our massage practice blooms. We both focus more on therapeutic, healing massage more than relaxation massage. Our styles are different but very complementary. One of our specialties is “Tandem” massage; both of us work on a client simultaneously. Our closeness help synchronize our massage. Anyone who really enjoys body work will find our tandem massage a heady, sensory experience. |
